Let's talk
If you're committing capital to infrastructure and the decision has to survive the room, let's talk.
What to bring to a first conversation
You don't need a polished brief. Three things make a first message easy to write. First, the decision you're facing — where the money is going, what's riding on it, and who has to sign off. Second, the data you have, or the data you wish you had; "we don't have it yet" is a perfectly good answer and often the real starting point. Third, the room it has to survive — the board, the funder, the council, the skeptic across the table who will press on every assumption. Tell me that much and I can tell you whether the analysis you need is a week of work or a quarter, and whether I'm the right person to build it.

I read everything that comes in. Thoughtful inquiries get thoughtful replies — I'd rather answer one well than ten in passing. If your decision isn't a fit for the kind of work I do, I'll tell you that plainly and, where I can, point you toward someone who is.
